A: I heard about HandsOn Broward through surfing the web
Q: How has volunteering impacted your personal/professional goals?
A: I’ve meet so many people who have encouraged me to continue in my schooling to reach my career goals. It’s made me realize one can have so much fun and share in happiness by helping others.
Q: What volunteering projects have you worked on in the past? What projects are you currently working on?
A: I’ve been a Candy Striper at Plantation Hospital, I do Terracycle at my school recycling trash, helped out in the HandsOn Broward Office, Arthritis Walk, Aids Walk and I’m currently loving the volunteer experience at Feeding South Florida.
Q: Any advice for new volunteers?
A: Through volunteering you get to learn the world around you. Your network becomes bigger and you meet people willing to help you reach your life long dream. Volunteer with a happy mind not because you need the hours but because it’s a good thing and in so doing you make your heart smile.
